06.04.11 North West Care Leaver and Young Homeless Support and Accommodation Framework 2011 The 22 North-West Local Authorities (includes Cumbria) would like to invite applications for the North West Care Leaver and Young Homeless Support and Accommodation Framework. The annual contract value is estimated at approximately£18 million based on new placements being required by the Contracted Local Authorities from July 2011 The contract will commence on Monday 25th July 2011 and run for two years with the option to extend annually for a further two years. 01.04.10 Launch of North West Minimum Standards for Leaving Care Leaving Care providers, unlike providers of other Children’s Services, have no National Minimum Standards or registration process to undertake before working with Young People. Placements Northwest in consultation with member Local Authorities and providers, established regional minimum standards to ensure that the providers operating in the region offer, at a minimum, an acceptable standard of placement.
